How do I add new pick-up/delivery locations?
When members sign up, their first step is to select a location. These are the pick-up locations and delivery zones that you create in the Routes manager.
When setting up your pick-up sites and delivery options from your Farmigo dashboard, you will start by setting up your routes and then set up your locations and assign them to the best route. |

How to create a route
- Go to the Logistics tab in your dashboard
- Click + New Route under Routes
- Click Edit
- Enter a Route Name (only admins will see the route name, it will not be visible to members)
- Assign the route to a delivery day (only days that are selected in your schedules will be available)
- Save changes
Now you may assign locations to this route. When a location is assigned to a route, it is assigned the same delivery day as that route. Click here to learn more about how to manage your active routes and locations.
Location Types: Pickup Sites v. Delivery Zones
There are two different types of locations that you can make available for your members at sign-up: a Pickup Site and a Delivery Zone.
A Pickup Site is a central location where a group of members will go to pick up their orders.
A Delivery Zone is a location setting that will trigger the system to create a unique location when a customer selects a Delivery Zone location during sign up. The unique location will be created based on the address listed in the Contact Info step of sign up.

How to create a pick-up site
- Go to the Logistics tab in your dashboard
- Click + New Location under Routes
- Enter the New Location Name at the top (this will be visible to members)
- Assign the location to a route so that it may be selected by members
- Set a capacity greater than zero so that it may be selected by members
- Since this is a pick-up site, set Type to "Pick-up Site"
- Complete relevant fields (click here to learn more about how to edit locations)
- Save changes
Now members may choose this pick-up site when signing up or changing their location. You may also organize the order of locations assigned to each route (learn more).
How to set up a delivery zone
If you would like to give members the option to receive their share and store orders at a custom delivery site (this is usually used for home delivery or an office delivery), you may set up delivery zones.

- To set up a delivery zone, start by creating a pick-up site. Then, set the Type to "Zone". You will have to enter a street address. Enter an address in the middle of your delivery area. Then hide that address from members by entering the general name of the area or neighborhood in the Public Address field, such as "Main St", "Downtown". The Google Maps integration will only allow map-related text in the Public Address field.
- Use the Comment field to add any info about the location or zone, like "Delivered to Your Door", ect. You may also include a note if you add a delivery fee. (Click here to learn more about how to edit locations.)
- When a member selects the delivery zone and completes the sign up process, a unique location will be created for that member's address and assigned to the same route that the zone is assigned too. You may now organize the order of this location on the route with respect to your other locations.
