How can I reward members for referring new customers?
Your current CSA members are one of your best marketing resources. Farmigo can help you utilize this marketing resource by helping you create a referral rewards program.
STEP 1: Set up the Sign Up Comments field
The Sign Up Comments field appears at the end of the signup process. You can customize the message that appears above this comment field from your dashboard:

- Go to Settings --> General Settings
- Click Edit in the upper right corner
- Under the Customized Labels section, enter the message that you would like to appear in the signup process in the field for "Sign Up Comments." You may enter something along the lines of "How did you hear about us? If somebody referred you to us, please tell us their name."
- Save changes
This comment will appear in the last step of the sign-up process beneath the payment method.
STEP 2: Review Signup Comments and Apply Rewards
When you review new subscriptions in your dashboard, you can view the sign up comment under the Delivery and Payment Preferences section of the member page. Additionally, when you export the subscription list, the comment can be viewed in the Sign-Up Comment column.

Now that you have identified the member who referred your new customer, it's time to reward them. We recommend providing them with Farmigo Credit, a currency that may only be used in your Farmigo Web Store. If you do not have Farmigo Credit enabled, email [email protected] and ask us to activate it for you.
How to add Farmigo Credit to a member's account
To add Farmigo Credit, open the member's page:
When your member logs into their account, they will see that they have $10 in Farmigo credit. The next time they go to the web store, they can use this credit to complete their purchase. Click here to learn more about how Farmigo Credits work.
- Click the +Add Payment button located on the Payment header.
- In the Type field, select Farmigo Credits. Then enter the amount, choose received, enter the date, and enter a note that mentions which customer was referred.
- Click Add and save changes to the member's account.
