Error Message: "Member with this name already exists"
If a member sees the error message, "Member with this name already exists" when going through your sign up process, it is likely because:
- they are a returning member and do not need to complete this step again
- they have a Farmigo account already with another business and do not need to complete this step
- they completed the Contact Info step of sign up but never completed the Pay step:
We recommend the following steps for these members:
1) Use the "Members without Subscription" filter to identify the member's account
2) Email the member and send them the Account link
3) If necessary, use the Reset Password button to send them the re-set password link
3) Instruct the member to use the Add Subscription feature via the Account link to add subscriptions to their account.
*If you do not allow members to update their subscriptions once they've created an account, take the following steps instead:
1) Use the "Members without Subscription" filter to identify the member's account
2) Enter Edit mode
3) Select Cancel Subscription: Delete Account
