Why wasn't the member automatically charged?
There are key settings that need to be in place, depending on the types of payment plans that you use, in order for a member to successfully be charged automatically.
Ongoing Payment Plans

1. Does the member have a payment token on file?
The icon to the left indicates a payment token. You will see this icon in your list of subscribed members and on the member's account page. This symbol indicates that the member has connected their credit card, bank account, or PayPal account to their Farmigo account. This allows them to be charged automatically according to their payment plan.

If there is no payment token associated with a member's account, they will not be charged automatically according to their payment plan.
2. Does the member have a payment plan on file (ongoing)?
Does the member have future pending payments scheduled (seasonal)?
Ongoing Payment Plans: The member must have a payment plan on file. This will tell the system how much to charge the member when their balance reaches or goes below the preapprove limit.
Seasonal Payment Plans: The member must have future pending payment scheduled. If the member has signed up for installments or monthly payments, the system will automatically schedule pending payments for the installments for future dates. If you create a member's subscription from the dashboard, the installments will not be scheduled automatically.

3. Is your preapprove limit set up? (Ongoing payment plans only)
A Farmigo support agent will need to set up the preapprove limit for your system if you want members to be automatically charged according to their ongoing payment plans. If you can see that a member has a payment token and a payment plan and has not being charged, contact [email protected] and ask us if your preapprove limit is set up. This limit tells the system to charge the member automatically according to their payment plan when their balance equals or becomes less than this amount. Usually, it is set up so that a member will be automatically charged when their balance reaches $0.
